Geography

In the geography component of the program, children are systematically introduced to the physical features of our world. With different maps including globes, flat puzzle maps of the world, puzzle maps of each continent, and a puzzle map of the United States, the program offers a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.

Through related activities such as “punching out” the maps with a push pin and gluing them together to make maps, children learn the names of continents and countries at an early age when their brains are more receptive to facts and vocabulary. This approach spares them the tedious effort and frustration that often come with learning the same topics at an older age. Furthermore, our young listeners learn scientific vocabulary of geography such as landforms like peninsula and island, and water forms like bay, delta, and lake.
